Die meisten Menschen möchten sich mit den Orten des Alltags, an denen sie sich am häu gsten aufhalten, identi zieren. Daher stellen sie dort Bilder und Objekte auf, mit denen sie sich verbunden fühlen. Damit hinterlassen sie Spuren und prägen die Welt, doch nicht nur die „reale“: Die Linie zwischen „realer“ und digitaler Welt ist mittlerweile so fein, dass Menschen sich inzwischen auch den virtuellen Raum aneignen wollen. Wie kann die Fusion dieser beiden Lebenswelten gelingen? Die multimediale Bild-Installation Traces sucht hierzu Antworten.

Most people are looking to find encounters, places and objects with which they can identify themselves, especially in places where they often spend time. They place there pictures and objects they feel connected to. They leave traces and shape the world, but not the “reality”.

The line between the “real” and digital world has become so fine that people nowadays want to appropriate also the virtual space. How can the fusion of these two worlds succeed? The multimedia image installation Traces is searching for an answer.
